On Sunday, August 5th, award-winning entrepreneur and director at London Sales Execs, Tom Harris took to the stage to address delegates at an industry conference, speaking on the subject of talent retention.
The three-day event was held at the 4-Star Park Plaza London Riverbank on the South Bank of the River Thames. Overlooking Westminster, the hotel offers 24 meeting rooms with free Wi-Fi and state-of-the-art audiovisual technology. The conference was attended by sales and marketing professionals from all over the UK. The objective of the three-day event was to provide delegates with information to help achieve excellent results in Q4.
Mr Harris was a guest speaker on the third and final day of the business event, and The London Sales Execs director was one of five guest speakers in the session. The primary objective of the meeting was to provide business owners with information to build a big team to grow their business simultaneously. Each speaker covered a specialist topic including; putting systems in place to start business growth, rebounding from failures, the recruitment pipeline and how to nurture talent to grow a business.
Mr Harris was asked to cover the subject of talent retention. The recipient of the Business Owner of the Year Award at the 2018 UK Sales and Marketing Awards has eight years of experience as a business coach and mentor and has learned how to both attract and retain top talent. During his speech, Mr Harris revealed what he had learned about building teams and retaining talent, and he shared his top tips for talent retention with the room full of eager listeners.
This was the second speaking engagement in recent months for Mr Harris. The London Sales Execs director was invited to speak at an industry conference in June, covering the topic of recruiting the next sales superstar.
